$6 Billion Drop in Overall Cryptocurrency Market Today

Stocks price in downtrend mode indicates global economy enter recession

The overall cryptocurrency market took a downturn on Monday. According to CoinsMarketCap, the market shed more than $6 billion from the overall market cap which currently sits around $203 billion.

At the time of writing 4:45PM PST, nine of the top 10 cryptos are in the red for the day. The stablecoin Tether (USDT) is the only one with a .01% increase after a 24-hour period.

Bitcoin is currently down 2.31% and trading at $6,332, while Ethereum is down 3.79% and trading at $197.14. Many of drops range between 2-9% with a few in the 10-12%. As usual, there is one outlier among the top 100 projects, with NXT currently up 12.8% and trading at $0.067724.
