The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will make a final decision on nine Bitcoin ETF applications within the next two months. The performance of the cryptocurrency market is still weak today.
In addition to the SEC’s recent announcement of the final decision date for the VanEck-SolidX Bitcoin ETF application to be delayed until September 30, along with eight ETF applications still pending. The deadline for the decision of the two applications for ProShares will be the 23rd of August; the deadline for the decision of the two applications for GraniteShares will be the 15th of September; the deadline for the decision of the four applications for Direxion will be the 21st of September.
Yesterday, the market was affected by the SEC’s delay in the application of VanEck-SolidX’s Bitcoin ETF application. Today, there is a little improvement, the past 24 hours we’ve seen small increases. As of 11:00 AM PST, Bitcoin (BTC) increased 2.79% to $6498.70; Ethereum (ETH) rose 1.70% to $365.17; Ripple (XRP) rose 4.13% to $0.344. Among the top 20 large-capacity cryptocurrencies, all rose with the exception of Ether Classic (ETC) which fell 2.25% to $15.16.
