Litecoin Founder Charlie Lee Confirms HTC Partnership

HTC is about to launch the world’s first blockchain mobile phone, Exodus, to expand the blockchain ecosystem with decentralized applications (Dapps) and security. Following the announcement of the first Dapps “CryptoKitties“, HTC has collaborated with the “Big Man” in blockchain. Litecoin founder, Charlie Lee, announced on Twitter that he is about to become a consultant for the blockchain mobile phone.

Lee said he met with the HTC Exodus team last week and will natively support the Litecoin and Lightning Network (LN). He believes that having a secure encrypted phone will make LN easier to adopt on a large scale. He also mentioned that Exodus will still support Bitcoin.

HTC’s chief decentralized officer, Phil Chen, also responded by retweeting HTC Exodus’ tweet on Twitter stating what an honor it was to work with Charlie Lee. The official Twitter of HTC Exodus also mention how this cooperation was, “One small step of Charlie Lee, one giant leap for blockchain.”
